Arriving in Lima, Peru

After flying to Cusco, we visited Chincheros and found out how they create their textiles

We also visited Maras salt pools

These are the Moray circles

We reached Macchu picchu on the third day, after a two hours train ride from Ollantaytambo

It was a little bit foggy in Macchu picchu

Hiking with my Dad

Another view of Macchu Picchu

In Sacsayhuaman natural rock slide

Then we visited the city of Cusco

Here is the church in Plaza de Armas

This is the Korikancha temple

Here is a typical street in Cusco. Half is pre-hispanic and half colonial

On the Ruta del Sol, an Incan bridge

In the Uros Island, in lake Titicaca (Puno). This island is completely made out of totora grass.

In Amantani island (Puno) with our local host Señora Maria

The view from our room in Amantani island

Another view from our room. We could see Lake Titicaca from there

This was our room at Señora Maria's house. There was no electricity but they still have lights powered by solar panels.
We had a great homemade meal. Potatoes with cheese and rice.

Also quinoa soap.

This is señora Maria's kitchen, the house is very modest but the host family was very nice and warm.

They have five sheep, and they sheer their wool so they can make warm hats

In Taquile, another island in lake Titicaca

With my brother visiting Sillustani

A storm was coming
